AceShowbiz - Formally confirmed her pregnancy to Glamour Magazine earlier this month, words are mounting that Christina Aguilera is prepping to give birth to a baby boy. No confirmation nor denial uttered by the singer just yet concerning the speculation, but the items she bought during her shopping spree say it all.
Christina was spotted earlier this week on a shopping spree at baby boutique-to-the-stars Petit Tresor in L.A. and was seen snapping up all the blue items, thus prompted people to think she's expecting a baby boy. A source in the know told OK! the pop star among others bought $3,100 Bonne Nuit Versailles crib, $800 silk bassinette by Lulla Smith, $680 worth of argyle bedding, $200 cashmere stuffed rabbit by Alvin & Sparky, toys by Kaloo which were all in blue, and three Mia Bossi diaper bags.
In other Christina news, People reported that she has on Saturday November 10th celebrated her impending motherhood with a baby shower held at her Beverly Hills home with the theme, as we all can already guest, blue, only to fuel the existing speculation about her baby's gender.
The shower, which reportedly is the first of three planned, was more of an intimate gathering of close friends and family. Among the presents bought from baby boutique Bel Bambini were a blue Loved Mom Guitar shirt, a Cariboo bassinet with blue dot bedding, Trumpette Johnny's socks, and Sozo Whiz Kid wee block, meant for use when changing a baby boy's diapers.
Has been keeping mum on her pregnancy, Christina finally confirmed the already widely-reported observation that she is expecting a baby, telling Glamour she would "enter into mommyhood" at the start of next year. Revealed further that she wanted to be a working mother, so she could "balance" the needs of her child with her career, she was quoted as saying "I want to get it right."
Christina began dating music marketing executive Bratman in early 2002. Their engagement was announced in February 2005, and they married on November 19th the same year in the Napa Valley. The forthcoming baby will be the pair's first child together.
