Nicole Richie and Joel Madden will probably not reside in Australia after being rejected by a posh gated community there.

AceShowbiz - Counted as ones of the media darlings in the United States, Joel Madden and pregnant fiancee Nicole Richie are not so popular in Australia though. The celebrity couple who can freely make their way out to public places in the US, sad to say, are not wanted in the country especially by the posh gated community.
While they themselves are considered to be part of the US' high profile community, potential neighbors apparently rejected Nicole and Madden's offer on a house in their gated Southern California community because of the unwanted attention their celebrity status would surely bring to the posh neighborhood.
The neighbors reportedly worried that the couple's presence would invite paparazzi to camp near their houses and invade the other's privacy.
Needless to say that Nicole was "livid" when she found out the reason they were denied. "Nicole was livid because she loved the house," a source tells Us Weekly. "She thinks it's a BS reason, but she couldn't fight it."
Madden, the frontman of band Good Charlotte, has recently expressed his love for Australia, claiming it as "the best place in the world." He, moreover, also revealed his intention to split his time between the US and Australia.
The singer reportedly has been looking for an apartment on the Gold Coast so he and Nicole could spend three months every year on the country. "I'm going to have a look around tomorrow for a place, a nice condo. It's only one flight man. The lifestyle here is insane," so he said at that time.
Well, it seems that the parents-to-be will need to find somewhere else to reside now that they've been rejected by Australian posh gated community. Africa sounds to be one good option for them, what do you think?
