Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington welcomed twin babies, one boy and one girl, Thursday Nov 8th.

AceShowbiz - Good news comes in twos for Dennis Quaid and his beloved wife Kimberly Buffington as they welcomed not only one but two babies all at once. Yes, the happy couple is now the proud parents of twin babies.

The twins, one boy and one girl, were born Thursday November 8th in Santa Monica, California, the couple's representative confirmed to People.

The baby boy, Thomas Boone, was born at 8:26 a.m. and weighed 6 lb. 12 oz., whereas the baby girl, named Zoe Grace came two minutes later and weighed 5 lb. 9 oz. Both babies were born via a surrogate mother, a woman who carries another couple's baby conceived by the parents' own egg and sperm.

Speaking about the arrival of his babies, the actor said in a statement, "God has definitely blessed us."

Quaid and Kimberly, a real estate agent, married on July 4, 2004. They publicly announced in a statement issued through his publicist back in May that they're expecting twins via a surrogate mother, whose identity has been kept under wrap.

With him has completed production on a handful of films, naming some are "Smart People," "Terra," and "Shame on You," Quaid surely is available to devote more times to do the diaper duty.

In addition to the newlyborn, Quaid has had one son, Jack Henry Quaid, from his marriage to actress Meg Ryan.
