A lawyer for Kevin Federline has confirmed to reporters that Britney Spears custody bid was put on hold Friday October 26th.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears' bid for custody of her two young sons with former husband Kevin Federline has been put on hold.

The former couple was there at the courtroom Friday October 26th for the next hearing of their custody battle of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Sad to say that the pair will have to wait couple more days to have the issue finally comes to an official end.

While little we can report about the closed hearing, K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told reporters after the hearing that Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon was expected to issue a written ruling by next Tuesday October 30th after hearing extensive testimony on a number of issues in the case.

Spears herself remained tight-lipped after the hearing, whereas her attorney Sorrell Trope simply told reporters, "something has changed, but I can't say what."
