Once the rockers finish a 10-day stint at Newark's The Prudential, Bon Jovi will continuously visit more than 10 countries.

AceShowbiz - With the anticipation running high on their new album 'Lost Highway', Bon Jovi is prepared to back it up with a worldwide tour. "We're starting in New Jersey and then taking it to the world," frontman Jon Bon Jovi promised on stage at the grand opening of The Prudential this week.

The band that kicked off the tour on Thursday, October 25 will roam U.S. until April 30 at Atlanta. They will then visit more than 10 other countries that include Canada, Japan, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Holland and Austria.

For the coming weeks, the rock band will continuously perform at The Prudential, Newark until November 10. In a statement, the band chose to play in the city instead of New York's Madison Square Garden because the rate of crime in the area was reduced following jobs availability.

"When people started coming in, they saw that this was the best performing arts facility in the region and they began to see a new face of Newark," said Mayor Cory A. Booker. "This is going to further encourage that as they see a top-of-the-class arena."

Tickets for the U.S. leg will go on sale on Saturday, November 3. Expect the full tour schedule to be posted on their official website soon.
