Rumors are rife that Carrie Underwood is dating actor Chace Crawford who is 2 years her junior, leaving her Tony Romo relationship a false assumption.

AceShowbiz - With the reports on her dating Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo going up and down, Carrie Underwood is now forced to handle another one. The American Idol alumna is rumored leaving Romo to date actor Chace Crawford.
According to OK! Magazine, Underwood and Crawford were at NYC club Marquee when they were spotted kissing and canoodling. A source said, "Chace has such an edgy, almost bad boy image on the show and Carrie has such a good girl image, together they're just hot."
Although her relationship with the Gossip Girl star is not yet confirmed, Underwood revealed to Seventeen magazine that she was never in a relationship with Romo at the first place.
"We're very good friends, and I talk to him pretty much every day, whether it's a text or whatever," Wood explained. "But we were never, like, dating. We hang out. We like doing the same things, and we come from similar backgrounds, and we both stumbled into big fame real fast. So we understand where each other is coming from."
"It's just the wrong time for both of us. In a different world, we might have dated. But not in this one right now."
Underwood will release her second album 'Carnival Ride' on October 23.
