Justice League Testing Young Actors for Potential Cast

The likes of Adam Brody, rapper Common, Minka Kelly, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are reported to undergo casting sessions for the ambitious project.

AceShowbiz - A number of young names appear to be considered for the superhero roles in Warner Bros. Pictures' fast-tracking project "Justice League of America." The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that director George Miller is seeing 35-40 acting talents for starring slots in the movie from October 14-15, 2007.

Among the pack are rising stars such as Adam Brody of "The O.C." fame, "Final Destination 3" female lead Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Teresa Palmer who recently appeared in "December Boys." Names like rapper Common, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Michael Angarano, and Max Thieriot are also reported to test for the flick's roles.

In the meantime, several of the cast members of NBC series "Friday Night Lights" turn out to make their way to join the competition as well, namely Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki, and Scott Porter. Miller is said to be due to present his findings to Warner Bros. on one of the middle days of this week.
