Country singer Joe Nichols enters rehab for substance abuse, almost a month after his wedding.

AceShowbiz - Newlywed Joe Nichols headed straight to rehab instead of some nice honeymoon place. The country singer who married his long-time girlfriend Heather Singleton in September is being treated for "substance abuse", according to a post on his website.
His rep explained, "As Joe has alluded to in interviews over the past year, he has struggled with the issue of substance abuse. In order to become a healthier person and deal with long standing issues, he has entered into a rehabilitation program for consultation and treatment."
Although Nichols' publicist Jennifer Bohler, has confirmed this, there's still no information regarding which facility he's checking into and what kind of substance is talked about here.
Nichols is one of the top 5 nominees of 13th Annual ICM Awards. He is running for 'Video of the Year' as well as 'Mainstream Country Artist of the Year'.
