AceShowbiz - It is not until December 25th later this year that Universal Pictures' "Charlie Wilson's War" will hit the theaters, but the new trailer for the drama flick is online now.

Based on George Crile's book about the CIA's largest and most successful covert CIA operation, the arming of the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan, "Charlie Wilson's War" follows the story of Charlie Wilson, a charismatic, wheeler-dealer, liberal Texas congressman who teamed with a rogue CIA operative to manipulate Congress, the CIA and a host of foreign governments in order to assist the Afghan rebels in their fight against the Soviets in the 1980s.
Mike Nichols is directing the cast, which among others include Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Amy Adams.
