Substantial property for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" got stolen from the film's production office, but the alleged thief has already been caught.

AceShowbiz - An unpleasant happening struck Steven Spielberg-directed "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" as computers, photographs and proprietary information related to the project were stolen from a production office on the Universal Pictures lot, The Los Angeles Time has reported.
Things taken were learned to include over 2000 production stills and lots of sensitive paperwork, one of which being assumed to be a possible script for the movie. Thanks to Los Angeles Sheriff's Department detectives, the alleged thief, however, finally got apprehended with other suspects being sought.
Spielberg, through his spokesman Marvin Levy, had been noted to express his concern that the thieves might be trying to sell the materials to several entertainment gossip websites. His fear turned out to become reality when people believed to be involved in the burglary were discovered to have sent out e-mails to several entertainment gossip websites offering to sell the images.
Upon Paramount Pictures' notification to the sheriff's investigators about the e-mails, the detectives afterwards posed as potential buyers for the materials and set up a meeting in West Hollywood on Tuesday evening (Oct 2). As the unidentified man arrived, he was quickly arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property, spokesman to Sheriff's Department Steve Whitmore said.
Prior to the security breach, "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" had already been afflicted with case over plot secrecy. An extra working in the flick named Tyler Nelson was found out to reveal plot details during an interview with Oklahoma-based newspaper Edmond Sun. Lawsuit recently was settled against the man for violating a confidentiality agreement. Terms of the settlement, however, remained undisclosed for now.
