AceShowbiz - Vivica A. Fox has on Thursday September 27th pleaded not guilty to a drunken driving charge stemmed from her arrest on a Los Angeles freeway back in March.
Lawyer Richard Hutton appeared in a Van Nuys, California, courthouse to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of the actress for two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content just above California's legal limit of .08.
Fox was pulled over on March 20th in the San Fernando Valley after a patrol car noticed her 2007 Cadillac Escalade traveling on a Los Angeles freeway at about 80 mph in a 65-mph zone. To make matter worse she was unable to stay in the correct lane and failed a field sobriety test.
If convicted on both charges, Fox faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. A trial date was set for October 29th later this year.
