Charlize Theron graces the cover of Vogue magazine's October 2007 issue, to which she shares her frustrations with Hollywood's obsession with looks and exposure.

AceShowbiz - After all the many celebrities, Charlize Theron is Vogue's next cover girl. The movie siren graces the cover of the publication's October 2007 issue to which she shares her frustrations with Hollywood's obsession with looks and exposure, plus her private life.

Speaking on one of her most famous roles, as Aileen Wuornos in the 2003 "Monster," Theron said "Doing press on North Country really pissed me off. 'Yet another transformation!' And I was like, I didn't do anything! I went into a mine and I got dirty. I was doing press in Rome, and I had to walk out of one interview. The journalist said, 'Another ugly role!' Then I heard Bill Maher make a joke about it on TV. 'You know what, Charlize? Seriously, like, we get it. Enough with the ugly roles.' I just went, It's so unfair. I understand what happened with becoming Aileen. But to try to put that on every other character I play? It's like I have to walk such a fine line because I don't want people to think I'm a one-trick pony."

And when it comes to question on whether the criticism affects the choices she makes, the beauty claimed "no", explaining "but there's a sadness in that the longer you stay in this career, the harder it becomes to get people to sit in a theater and not focus on your looks. Maybe that's why I try to keep my private life so private and why I don't want to be an In Touch celebrity. It's why I don't have any patience for paparazzi. It's just not something that helps me at all."

On her actor boyfriend Stuart Townsend, Theron said "It's effortless in that we don't doubt that we want to be with each other," adding further "And it's more than love. I really do believe in that saying that love isn't enough. I've been in love before. But have I ever been with somebody who I really, truly felt had my back and was my best friend? No, not until Stuart."
