TV Guide is reporting that comedian Mo'Nique has joined the cast of "Ugly Betty" as a weekend receptionist at "Mode."

AceShowbiz - Mo'Nique is ugly, literally. The actress-comedian is joining the cast of "Ugly Betty."
TV Guide is reporting that Mo'Nique has just been cast on the TV comedy-drama series as a weekend receptionist at "Mode."
She reportedly is scheduled to appear in one episode, to air in late November or early December.
Mo'Nique, best known for the role of Nicole "Niki" Parker on the UPN television series "The Parkers" (1999-2004), lent her voice to comedy adventure "Farce of the Penguins" and could next be seen starring in the drama comedy "The Better Man."
