AceShowbiz - Here come more goodies from "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" following the launch of its first movie poster last week. Ain't It Cool News has delightfully obtained and posted online several of the initial conceptual artwork for the project, which recently wrapped its principal photography.
Courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures, the artwork, developed by creature supervisor Howard Berger, feature concept images of the creatures from the fantasy adventures, namely hag, satyr, and werewolf. All of the drawings nonetheless give us indication that the Narnia world presented in the film will presumably be darker and more menacing than the first one.
Set for a theatrical release on May 16, 2008, "Prince Caspian" was primarily shot in Eastern Europe with Ireland, China, and Argentina previously being scouted as filming locations. Visual effects for the picture were handled by F/X companies the Moving Picture Company and Framestore CFC in addition to New Zealand's Weta Digital.
