Alyssa Milano has been booked to serve as a post-season correspondent on MLB.com.

AceShowbiz - Alyssa Milano has landed her other dream job besides that of acting and fashion designer. The beauty has been hired to serve as an official online correspondent for America's summer sport, covering baseball online for TBS Hot Corner on MLB.com.

TBS Hot Corner is a new broadband channel from Turner Broadcasting's TBS, which will be broadcasting the major league division series and the National League Championship Series for the first time this season.

And Milano, who's been a lifelong baseball fan, a Los Angeles Dodgers season ticket holder, and already has a popular blog on MLB.com, called Touch 'em All, will be in hand contributing regular reports and features from major league stadia as teams race to make the playoffs. The reports will range from interviews with players, coaches and fans, to features on calorie counting at the park and the best in baseball attire.

"Alyssa Milano has been a popular figure in the world of entertainment for a number of years and we're excited to pair her star power with her passion for baseball to give fans an insiders look at the MLB post-season," Jeff Ogan, Turner Sports senior director of production, said in a statement. "In her role on TBS Hot Corner she'll take fans behind-the-scenes from the clubhouse to the concession stands, offering entertaining reports on all things baseball like only she can."

Milano herself, who will begin her new job on September 17th, said the deal is "literally a dream job come true!" while is hoping "to give fans an insider's perspective."
