Tommy Lee issued an apology on his official website for MTV VMAs fight with Kid Rock.

AceShowbiz - Tommy Lee is acting gentle by issuing public apology for the weekend MTV VMAs brawl.
While people are still questioning on what made them involved in the fight, Lee insisted it all started because Kid Rock was jealous of his relationship with their ex-wife Pamela Anderson.
In a message posted on his official Website, the Motley Crue drummer tried to explain on what was really going on during the awards event, writing "Pamela comes and sits on my lap who I love and adore ..... so I get a tap on the shoulder from Kid Pebble...i stand up and embrace him with a semi hug and say "Hey dude...What up"?? He punches me in the face."
Lee, moreover, also apologized to singer Alicia Keys who was performing on stage when the unfortunate suddenly took place, saying "i apologize sweetie.....i had nothing to do with the timing and disrespect, ......back to the stupid-ness!!"
Lee and Rock involved in a brawl at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night September 9th, as a result of which Rock was cited for misdemeanor battery and he could face up to six months in jail.
