Bond 22 Title Is Property of a Lady?
Movie

The project is speculated to probably work under the title of "Property of a Lady", the same name as a James Bond short story found in 007 book "Octopussy and the Living Daylights."

AceShowbiz - Apart from those of Bond girls and plot details of the story, another mystery surrounding "Bond 22" has been the real title of the project itself for sure and now, talks seem to have heated up on the subject already.

A message posted at Ain't It Cool News has brought up an interesting tidbit pointing out that the next installment of the British super-spy adventure franchise may officially work under the title of "Property of a Lady", which is known to be the name of a short story found in final James Bond book, "Octopussy and the Living Daylights."

For those who are not familiar with the story, "Lady" follows Bond as he investigates a female double-agent who is about to be paid by her Russian keepers by auctioning a Faberge egg at Sotheby's in her name. This then brings him to attend the auction after learning that a Resident Director of the KGB in London is sent to underbid for the item in order to push the price to the necessary value to pay for her services as a double agent.

Though being the one providing the scoop, the person sending the posting, however, did put caution that the info given should be taken with a grain of salt since nothing of this has been confirmed yet. Whether the story will really become the authentic plot of "Bond 22" is also unclear, so keep sticking to AceShowBiz for updates on this matter.

Speculations put aside, Variety has informed that pic is currently in preproduction for a December start date and will, according to scribe Paul Haggis, still feature the same 007 moviegoers saw in "Casino Royale." Producer Barbara Broccoli further confirmed that the movie would indeed continue "the path of Bond trying to find out who was behind the Le Chiffre operation" as well as the absence of traditional supporting elements like gadget-master Q and Miss Moneypenny.
