AceShowbiz - She said, she said, and now she's saying it again. Kim Porter tells the upcoming October issue of Essence magazine the real reason why she left former boyfriend P. Diddy after 10 years together.
Being asked on her dramatic quick exit from the rap mogul's house, Porter said she had to do that while he was out for he won't ever let her walked out the door. "He wouldn't have wanted me to go," so she said, adding that she wasn't afraid at all but just wanted it "to be dramatic. I wanted him to know I wasn't breaking up with him for two weeks or maybe leaving for two days. If I pack up everything; twins and all it means I'm out! Puffy's an action person, not a talk person. So I had to have an action. Telling him, 'Babe, I'm leaving ...' was not gonna do it."
Porter, in further interview with the magazine, dismissed public speculation on her leaving Diddy because he won't propose, claimed he already gave her too many rings that she doesn't even have enough fingers for them all. On what she'd say if Diddy proposed today, she said "I would say 'No.' And not because I don't want to get married, but because he's not ready to get married. When I get married, I want to stay married. I want both parties to be on the same page at the same time, and to leave a certain type of behavior behind. That's a commitment I don't think he's ready for."
And when it comes to question on whether rumors that Diddy had an illegitimate child in Atlanta caused her to end the relationship, Porter answered "Hmmm... Well, that definitely was part of it."
