Dawn Richard from Danity Kane wrote that they have re-recorded an old material for their new album.

AceShowbiz - Off the break up issue that has been confirmed as rumor, Danity Kane are preparing the release of their sophomore effort. Member Dawn Richard wrote on her MySpace that the group's favorite track called 'Take It Further' may make the cut to the new album.

The post read, "Okay folks! yall have been asking for it! A song from the ladies, yes, you heard me right.....One of the songs we recorded for the last album. Its a group favorite. This is the song you put your skates on and just coast!! We decided not to leave yall too hungry...so here is some DK food"

'Take It Further' is a material that didn't make the cut to their self-titled debut album. The slow R&B song was formerly known as 'Want It From Me' that leaked early this year. The new album is expected to be released next year.

The band recently appeared on Making the Band 4 final, shutting down the rumor of their split that was rife months after the release of 'Danity Kane'. They are quoted writing on their official site, "We have every intention of writing, singing, and dancing our way to the top."
