Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's court battle over support and custody issues has heated up in recent months.

AceShowbiz - Let the frenzy begins. The court battle over spousal support and custody issues between former couple Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston of their daughter, 14-year-old Bobbi Kristina, is getting worse in recent months.
In a new legal papers filed July 2nd, Brown says "Since Whitney has been awarded sole legal and physical custody of Bobbi Kris, she has attempted to eliminate me from Bobbi Kris' life." He then goes on stating, "I did all I could to see my daughter ... I also paid approximately $10,000 for Whitney and Bobbi Kris to live in a nice hotel while Whitney was going through rehab ... I basically lived out of my car."
Pointing an accusing finger at his former wife, Brown also adds "I have not seen or spoken to my daughter since early June and I have no prospect of speaking to her or seeing her anytime soon due to Whitney's actions."
As of Houston, the diva has in an August 24th filing in the Orange County Court of California responded to Brown's claim, pointing to their prenuptial agreement in which it is stated that "Mr. Brown has no right to receive any property from Ms. Houston, no right to temporary support and no right to permanent support."
The prenup, dated July 17, 1992, among others also showed "The parties intend that they shall not share together in the ownership of their respective Separate Property" with "Brown agrees that Houston shall have no legal obligation to support him, and that he shall have no right to require the payment to him of any alimony, support (including temporary support)...and Brown hereby waives, releases, relinquishes and forever renounces any and all such rights to the fullest extent permitted by law."
Brown and Houston had their divorce finalized on April 24th last year with custody of their daughter went to her. The former couple is due back in court on August 31st.
