Justin Timberlake Lands Star Billing in The Love Guru

Justin Timberlake has been added into the cast of Paramount Pictures' comedy "The Love Guru."

AceShowbiz - After Jessica Alba, here comes another massively popular name to highlight "The Love Guru." Paramount Pictures as the studio producing the flick has announced that pop star Justin Timberlake is joining the cast of the comedy which Mike Myers will topline as the titular character.

Here the multiple Grammy Awards winner will be a professional hockey player in L.A. Kings named Jacques Grande who dates the estranged wife of Toronto Maple Leafs star hockey player Darren Roanoke, played by Romany Malco. It is the rift between Roanoke and his wife that Myers' character has to settle since the man is expected to get back on his game so the team can break the 40-year-old "Bullard Curse" and win the Stanley Cup.

Being so, pic thereby will mark the reunion between Timberlake and Myers after their voice stints together in summer blockbuster hit "Shrek the Third" that finds the singer and actor filling in the voice of Artie and the green ogre, respectively. Marco Schnabel has been hired to direct from the script Myers penned alongside Graham Gordy with the funnyman also serving as producer accompanied by Michael De Luca.
