Universal Pictures has updated the official site for "The Kingdom" with new features and launched new movie stills on the net.

AceShowbiz - In the wait for "The Kingdom" to hit theaters next month, Universal Pictures has delightfully brought up some new features on the official site for the action thriller as well as new stills for all fans to feast their eyes on.

Apart from those usually found in most sites, like buddy icons and screensavers plus pictures and trailers, the features include:

Based on the Riyadh compound bombings which took place on May 12, 2003, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, "The Kingdom" is directed by Peter Berg and was originally set for an April 20, 2007 release but later got pushed back to September 28 for a better chance at award consideration. Pic mentions that over 100 people died and more than 200 injured in the aftermath of the bombings whereas in fact only 35 died and roughly 160 injured.
