Lil' Flip was exonerated of credit card abuse after allegedly purchasing an airplane ticket with another man's American Express card.

AceShowbiz - Lil' Flip can now take a deep sigh of relieved as he's been pleaded not guilty of credit card abuse charge in Houston after allegedly purchasing an airplane ticket with another man's American Express card.

A Harris County grand jury has on Wednesday August 15th declined to indict the rapper for the related credit card abuse charge as it is found out already that the airplane ticket was purchased by a man from South Carolina who Flip thought worked for a legitimate travel agency. Prosecutors thus have closed their investigation and declared no further charges are expected in the case.

Flip, a platinum record-selling Houston rapper, turned himself in to the Harris County Courthouse around 2:30 pm on July 21st and was released shortly after posting a $2000 bail. He was accused of credit card abuse after allegedly purchasing an airplane ticket using another man's American Express card. Per the authorities, it is said that Flip bought a Southwest Airlines ticket from Houston to Baltimore on June 8th, cost $671, using a credit card owned by a man named Jordan Salinger, who didn't authorize the purchase.

"He's extremely happy," Flip's attorney, Stanley Schneider, said on his client's feeling toward the decision. "He feels vindicated."
