Following her collapse last week, Amy Winehouse stated that she will be back to work on Monday, August 13.

AceShowbiz - Amy Winehouse, who recently collapsed out of drug overdose, has promised that she will get back to work today (August 13). Speaking on her incident, the British import claimed that she will be fit enough to go on with V Festival, scheduled on August 18-19.

After discharged from the London's hospital, Winehouse has been recovering at Four Season Hotel in Hook where she described the feeling of passing out the other day. "I never want to feel that way again," she said. "It was just crazy - one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I've scared myself this time. I was all over the place. I know things have got to change. I have to sort myself out."

Winehouse fainted on August 7 following two back-to-back performances at two U.S. festivals, the Virgin Festival in Baltimore and Lollapalooza in Chicago. She cancelled two dates in Denmark and Norway and another four dates in Oslo's Oya Music Festival. After a week of good rest, she declared, Im fine. Ill be back at work on Monday. Im fine, honest.

Many times Winehouse would cancel concert when she's not "up for it". This situation has raised concern among fans who expected her performances especially after her hits like 'Rehab' and 'You Know I'm No Good' won their interest. Just a few days before she fainted, the singer promised to keep her gigs on schedule.

Concern not only comes from fans, fellow singer Natalie Imbruglia urged Winehouse to thrive on her career. "I hope she doesn't quit," said Imbruglia. "I've read interviews where she's spoken about just wanting to be a mum and that's scary to think, that she won't make records."
