Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton gave birth to a baby boy Friday August 10th, it has been confirmed.

AceShowbiz - Baby Spice is now a mother. Emma Bunton, the former Spice Girl, gave birth to a baby boy Friday August 10th.

The newlyborn, named Beau, was born at London's Portland Hospital at 11:12 a.m. and weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 15oz, the singer's representative Alan Edwards said in a statement.

"He is absolutely brilliant, and both baby and Emma are doing fine. In fact Emma is tucking into some flapjacks and Coca-Cola as we speak," the baby's father Jade Jones tells People, adding "We are both absolutely delighted and can't wait to take Beau home."

Emma and Jones, former Damage and current CherryBlackStone lead singer, have been dating for eight years. The couple moved into a five-bedroom home in her native north London in 2005. The baby is the first child for both of them.

As for her singing career, it was announced on June 28, 2007 that Emma would be reuniting with the Spice Girls for a world tour entitled "The Return of the Spice Girls" kicking off in Vancouver on December 2nd the same year and Greatest Hits collection release which is expected to be released by EMI Music this November.
