Rosario Dawson and Michelle Monaghan Get Into Eagle Eye

"Eagle Eye" helmer D.J. Caruso revealed to MTV that Rosario Dawson and Michelle Monaghan would join Shia LaBeouf in the terrorist thriller.

AceShowbiz - Early companions to Shia LaBeouf for his next vehicle "Eagle Eye" finally are picked up.

Pic's director D.J. Caruso, who recently directed LaBeouf in hit movie "Disturbia", has exclusively told MTV News that Rosario Dawson and Michelle Monaghan are both set to join the rising actor in the project with representatives of the latter one confirming the statement.

"I met with Rosario the other day, so we're adding her and [Michelle]," Caruso recalled. "We're putting together a really cool cast, so I'm excited about that."

A terrorist thriller from the mind of Steven Spielberg, "Eagle" revolves around a young man and a single mother with a 4-year-old who get framed as terrorists and forced to be parts of a group which plans to kill a political figure. Filming reportedly will begin after LaBeouf wraps up shooting for "Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods" with the actor as the guy and Monaghan the mother. As for Dawson, Caruso was only quoted to say that the actress is billed to portray a character named Zoey.

"It was an original Steven [Spielberg] idea that he was developing at Dreamworks for about eight or 10 years," the the 42-year-old filmmaker further explained. "When he started 'Indiana Jones 4,' he still wanted to make the movie and said, 'Would you be interested in doing this?' I read it and loved it. I'm working now with [screenwriter] Hillary Seitz on doing a rewrite."
