Tonic Frontman Goes Solo with 'Cigarettes and Gasoline'

Emerson Hart known for his role as the former vocalist of Tonic is launching his solo career through personal record 'Cigarettes and Gasoline'.

AceShowbiz - Pop rock singer Emerson Hart is being celebrated for his debut solo album 'Cigarettes and Gasoline'. Lead single 'If You're Gonna Leave Me' from the CD that was released on July 17 has received huge airwaves on radios and hit #25 on AC Radio charts.

Emerson is to be known as the ex-frontman of post-grunge band Tonic. �Millions of people are already familiar with Emerson�s poignant lyrics, smart songcraft, and evocative voice," Manhattan Records GM Ian Ralfinicomments said. "When they hear his new music, they�ll know that he is on the verge of a significant new chapter in an already-illustrious career. I�m proud that he is joining the Manhattan artist roster.�

Within the album Emerson wrote most of the materials himself including title track 'Cigarettes and Gasoline' that is inspired from his childhood memories of his father who was murdered when he was young. �I obsessively write every day,� he said. �Writing is my therapy, that�s how I exist.�
