As part of the pact, McG will first direct three features for the studio.

AceShowbiz - Establishing a promising mutual collaboration, famed filmmaker McG has struck an exclusive film deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to develop film features under the company banner for three years ahead.
Three big screen projects are learned to have been set up for McG to direct for his Wonderland Sound and Vision shingle with the studio: an action comedy titled "Nightcrawlers", a spy pic to be produced by Basil Iwanyk, and a heist drama called "Yucatan."
The first one, described by McG as "our 'Men in Black'" will be penned by Michael Arndt and tells about a neurotic father who must face childhood monsters while the second has already hired "Sneakers" scribe Phil Alden Robinson to make a rewrite on the script.
As for the third, McG reportedly is set to direct from screenplay by Paul Scheuring, who was tapped to do the job two years ago, with he also producing alongside David Heyman. Telling about hunters in the Yucatan peninsula, pic will be based on recently discovered notes and storyboards by the late Steve McQueen, who initially developed the project as a star vehicle.
Known for his work on two "Charlie's Angels" flicks, McG remarked that the new deal was an outgrowth of the relationship he developed with Warner Bros. while directing "We Are Marshall", which the studio launched December last year.
"I'm happy to be over at Warner Bros.," so he said upon expressing his enthusiasm for getting all the projects into production under the deal.
