Announcement has been made at the 2007 Comic-Con on Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy's inclusion in "Star Trek"

AceShowbiz - On the same day during the confirmation of Karen Allen in "Fourth Installment of the Indiana Jones Adventures" at the 2007 Comic-Con, Paramount Pictures delightfully also rolled up the veil covering its other tightly-kept project, none other than "Star Trek."

Answering the recent talks about the flick's cast, the giant studio ultimately admitted that Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy have both indeed picked up to play the young and old version of Spock, respectively. Further, it was also revealed that a search for the one to portray Captain Kirk is underway and that filmmakers of the sci-fi adventure are trying to get William Shatner back as well.

The eleventh film entry of the long-running franchise, "Star Trek" has already had "Alias" creator J.J. Abrams to helm from script by writing duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as well as to produce alongside Damon Lindelof. Pic is confirmed to hit theaters stateside on Christmas Day 2008, the same date as Disney's family fantasy fare "Bedtime Stories."
