Ne-Yo Touring with McDonald's

Hot and new artists such as Ne-Yo, Kat DeLuna and Twista are tapped to tour for free as part of McDonald's live music business.

AceShowbiz - Very well-known for its support in movie industry through Happy Meal, McDonald's is now working extra for its music sponsorship segment. The fast food chain is lining up Ne-Yo, Kat DeLuna and Twista as artists to grace their first music tour.

The live music shows that will be held at the restaurants' parking lots will take a 10 course dates, visiting cities with McDonald's outlets in it. Approximately 500 to 1,500 people are allowed to attend the free shows based on first come first served. The shows will be set off at 6.30 p.m.

"We're always looking for ways to strengthen brand relevance with young adults, and we know from work we've done in the past that music is their number one passion," said director of McDonald's U.S. marketing Douglas Freeland.

Other acts to join the tour are Kenna, The Dey, Kevin Michael, and Single File with additional artists to be announced. On the decision to select these artists Freeland explained, "Our strategy was to involve emerging multi-genre artists who are releasing new music this summer."

The trek starts July 26 at California's Venice Beach Recreation Center and ends September 25 in Austin Texas.
