Catalina Sandino Moreno Joins Soderbergh's Che Guevara Biopic

Colombian beauty Catalina Sandino Moreno has been added into the cast of Steven Soderbergh's back-to-back Che Guevara biopic "The Argentine" and "Guerrilla."

AceShowbiz - Bringing more highlight to the international cast of the ambitious project, renowned Colombian actress Catalina Sandino Moreno has given her agreement to take part in "The Argentine" and "Guerrilla", Steven Soderbergh's back-to-back biopic of Latin American revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

Written by Peter Buchman, the project will depict Guevara's life journey from the time he struggled to mobilize popular support in his homeland up to his 1964 visit to New York where he spoke at the United Nations and was celebrated in society circles. Attached to star are Puerto Rican thesp Benicio Del Toro, Britain's Julia Ormond, Germany's Franka Potente, and Cuban Jorge Perugorria as well as Spanish actors Jordi Molla, Oscar Jaenada, and Eduard Fernandez.

Production is scheduled to begin this month on date 25 in Spain's central Castille La Mancha region to then be carried out in other locations in Madrid and Andalusia for nine weeks. Not only helms, Soderbergh is also producing alongside Laura Bickford with Wild Bunch handling international sales.
