Paulo Barzman's drama "Emotional Arithmetic" will close the 32nd Toronto International Film Festival on September 15, 2007.

An adaptation of Matt Cohen's novel of the same name, the film recounts the reunion of several Holocaust survivors four decades later and how their painful past continues to throw shadows on their lives and those of their families. Paulo Barzman directs with Susan Sarandon, Gabriel Byrne, and Christopher Plummer all staring under BBR Prods. and Triptych Media banner.
