Second single from Kelly Clarkson's "My December" is expected to chart this week in remedy of its predecessor "Never Again".

AceShowbiz - After much-criticized "Never Again", Kelly Clarkson released another sentimental song to be the second single pulled from "My December". "Sober" was released on July 10 and will soon determine the success of her third album.

"Sober" is considered a crucial song after "Never Again" was mildly received in radio airplay despite the huge digital download. The music itself spans various instruments that vary from drums to timpani with Kelly's vocal reaching high pitch, reminding fans of her earlier work.

Kelly said of the song in an interview, "Musically, it's almost hypnotic. You just get lost in it, it's just so beautiful. This song is about surviving something you think you can get past or over. I'm not an alcoholic; that's not what it's about. It's just a metaphor. Everyone has something they are addicted to that they can do without in their life, so it could be about whatever your addiction is."

"Sober" has entered Billboard's Hot 100 chart at #93 but since the official release to radio outlets was only on July 10 it has fallen off the chart after one week. It is expected that the song will receive better charting this week.
