Avenged Sevenfold is aiming October release for the LP that really speaks out their mind of how a record should be.

AceShowbiz - Failed to get producer Rob Cavallo's hands on their new LP, Avenged Sevenfold took over the entire production themselves. The result? A head-banging-must-be with groove driven melody.
The album that will be the follow up of Gold certified "City of Evil" (2005) initially was about to be Rob's project but the producer, who was behind My Chemical Romance's successful set "The Black Parade", was too busy working on Kid Rock's album and had to let it pass. Avenged then "couldn't wait" and handed a demo to their label Warner Bros. which eventually approved them on self-producing.
Once they get a major say for their record, Avenged geared up a record that they have been longing for. "It was a very conscious decision on our part to make the most down-to-the-bone Avenged Sevenfold album we could," the frontman M. Shadows. "There's no glitz or glamour � just a heavy-hitting record that encompasses all of Avenged Sevenfold. It's a record that new fans and old fans will love. It's easily our best-sounding record."
He added, "We spent so much time on textures and different vibes, and we'd try everything in the studio. Whatever worked worked, and whatever didn't, we'd throw out. We've had four months in the studio where we've just been experimenting and making this sh-- hit heavy."
The current state of their LP indicates half-done materials waiting to be processed further. Within a few weeks the band will head to New York to mix the CD with engineer Andy Wallace.
Speaking early of their singles, Shadows said that almost every tracks are personal. "It's all about trying to understand yourself and become a better person through your life experiences. It's about not taking human relationships for granted and just wanting to be a better person. I also think it's the best vocal performance I've ever done."
The record is yet untitled but aimed for an October release. Meanwhile, a DVD capturing the band's early moments will be issued on July 17 under the title "All Excess". Shadows explained, "It shows fans how we wrote every record and where we recorded them, and there's footage from some early shows, when we still sucked. It has everything in it, and you learn everything about us with this DVD."
