Eva Longoria and Tony Parker married at a civil ceremony in Paris on Friday July 6th, a prelude to their fairytale weekend wedding bash.

AceShowbiz - It's official. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are now officially husband-and-wife as they made it legal in a July 6th civil ceremony in Paris.

Wearing a pink Chanel dress with striped black and white straps, Eva then changed into a short white dress for the ceremony, took place at the Mairie (city hall for the 4th Arrondissement) in Place Baudoyer, not far from Notre Dame. The groom arrived about 10 minutes after her, wearing a dark suit went straight in without waving. He was accompanied by a group of friends, one of them was French soccer star Thierry Henry.

The ceremony, lasted about 45 minutes, was officiated by Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe who during that time gave a speech, saying "Their international reputations cannot escape me, but for me they are just Eva and Tony, two young people, very appealing, who love each other and who are at a very important moment in their life."

While there were only few friends and family members attending the ceremony, there were about 1000 people waiting outside the building, hoping to witness the moment.

Eva and Tony are expected to exchange vows in a second ceremony to be held Saturday July 7th at the Church of Saint Germain l'Auxerriois. Among the invited guests are Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Nicollette Sheridan, James Denton, Ricardo Chavira, Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Jessica Alba and boyfriend Cash Warren.
