Rapper Mos Def will carry out double job as the male lead and executive producer in Duly Noted Inc.'s rom-com flick "Bobby Zero."

Continues paving his path in the film industry, rapper is set to both star in and executive produce "", a romantic comedy coming from Duly Noted Inc., Variety has revealed.

Here Def is poised to become the male lead in the project, which centers on a down-on-his-luck social satirist who gives up his artistic aspirations to work at an advertising agency.

Production is due to begin this November with brothers Markus and Mason Canter directing from their own script. Onboard to produce is Duly Noted's honcho Effie Brown who is also producing "Rocket Science", a comedy drama directed by "Spellbound" helmer Jeffrey Blitz.
