A poll conducted by Rolling Stone for angriest song places Bob Dylan's 1962 classic at the top spot.

AceShowbiz - A poll by Rolling Stone magazine to determine which makes the angriest love song surprisingly points to an old tune by Bob Dylan. "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" tops the list of songs with fuming content.

The classic was written by Dylan back in 1962 for the album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". The 66-year-old singer once defined the song as "a statement that maybe you can say to make yourself feel better...as if you were talking to yourself."

Coming second place is Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" that unmistakably hit a cheating lover who went for someone else. Within the lyric is "'Cause the joke that you laid in the bed that was me. And I'm not gonna fade. As soon as you close your eyes and you know it. And every time I scratch my nails down someone else's back I hope you feel it...well can you feel it"

The magazine accumulated voting from readers for "their favorite anxious love tunes" within one week. And the top five is:

  1. "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" - Bob Dylan
  2. "You Oughta Know" - Alanis Morissette
  3. "The One I Love" - R.E.M.
  4. "Alison" - Elvis Costello
  5. "Song For The Dumped" - Ben Folds Five
