NBC Is Going to Pay Paris Hilton $1 Million for Post-Jail Interview

NBC has reportedly agreed to pay "as much as $1 million" for Paris Hilton's first interview when she's released from prison.

AceShowbiz - Has just turned down the costly offer to bare all for Playboy magazine, Paris Hilton is now being offered $1 million dollar cash for a post-jail interview with US television network NBC's The Today Show.

The New York Post reported Thursday June 21st, NBC has won a bidding war to secure an exclusive chat with the socialite as soon as she's released from the Century regional detention center in Lynwood, California, on Monday June 25th.

On that matter, Star magazine reported, "Meredith Vieira will conduct the interview sometime next week, sources tell the NY Post, as Paris is upset with Matt Lauer for some remarks he made about her. The news comes as a blow to ABC, who is reportedly furious about the deal. Executives thought that Paris' first interview as a free woman who handed over to Barbara Walters, who's become close with Hilton's mommy, Kathy (Richards)."

Meanwhile, Paris who reportedly received over 5,000 pieces of fan mail since she was sentenced to prison, has made use most of her free time replying her fans' letter.
