Frank Miller Causing Big
Movie

Acclaimed comic-book writer Frank Miller will adapt Raymond Chandler's book "Trouble Is My Business" to the big screen as starring vehicle for Clive Owen.

AceShowbiz - Taking a more active hand in film features, comic-book writer Frank Miller has come onboard to pen "Trouble Is My Business", a Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment adaptation of Raymond Chandler's novella of the same name, for Clive Owen to star.

The decision to turn the book into the big screen was made partly because it provides the actor with a similar chance to frame the narrative with a compelling voiceover, using Chandler's hardboiled prose as hard-drinking private eye Philip Marlowe cracks cases, busts heads and romances femme fatales in 1940s Los Angeles.

Project thereby will be the next collaboration Miller and Owen strike after the 2005 "Sin City", which wonderfully scored a total gross of $158.7 million worldwide. No word yet on the production date, but it is informed that Strike partners Marc Abraham and Eric Newman are set to produce while Owen and Phil Clymer will executive produce.
