Ashley Judd is launching a line of women's clothes with Knoxville-based retailer Goody's Family Clothing this fall.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Judd is jumping on the fashion bandwagon. The movie actress is teaming up with clothing retailer Goody's Family Clothing Inc., lending her name and fashion line to a new line of women's clothing to debut this fall.
Goody's, a Knoxville-based company, confirmed their partnership Wednesday June 13th. The three new labels, called AJ, Ashley Judd and Love, Ashley will among others include sweaters, denim, knit tees and casual career outfits.
A fashionable actress, Judd helped develop the line and took designers on shopping trips to show them her style, Goody's officials said. "Ashley can relate to our customers and their fashion needs through her Southern roots and simple elegant style," said Mary Kwan, president and chief merchandising officer at Goody's.
Judd herself "thrilled to be involved in a clothing line that provides simple, lovely solutions for women's wardrobes. I've always loved items that you can throw on easily and know that you'll feel and look good."
An actress, best known for her leading roles in a series of late 1990s and early 2000s thrillers, Judd recently received a bachelor's degree of arts in French from the University of Kentucky.
