Keanu Reeves Not Under
Movie

Keanu Reeves' manager stated that the actor has turned down an offer to star in Zack Snyder's "Watchmen."

AceShowbiz - Looks like the return of Keanu Reeves to superhero movie won't be happening in short time. The actor's manager has informed Club-Keanu that the "Constantine" star has decided to turn down an offer to take part in "Watchmen", which Zack Snyder is set to helm for Warner Bros. Pictures.

Reeves, well known for playing Neo in "The Matrix" trilogy, had been heavily speculated since last month to be on the run for the role of Dr. Manhattan in the project alongside fellow actors Jude Law and Patrick Wilson. The assumptions got stronger as Snyder showed no denial about the matter at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards red carpet early this month.

A crime-conspiracy story that provides the first realistic look at the behind-the-heroics lives of superhero archetype, "Watchmen" is a film adaptation of the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons graphic novel series which follows a group of former crime-fighters as they get back into action to avenge the death of their former teammate, The Comedian. Script was penned by Alex Tse with Lloyd Levin, Lawrence Gordon, and Chris Kenny all handling producing matters.
