Ron Perlman Lets the
Movie

"Hellboy" star Ron Perlman is poised to topline Kenny Golde's indie dramedy "Vacuuming the Cat" alongside Barbara Hershey.

AceShowbiz - No doubt will get busier for few years ahead, Ron Perlman has added one more film project into his big screen resume, placing an indie dramedy entitled "Vacuuming the Cat" in the list.

Written by Ted Henning, the flick centers on a young man who, after suffering the death of his wife, goes to the desert to build a porch for his aunt and meets a retired ex-cop who guides him through his grief toward acceptance.

Other cast members include Barbara Hershey, Daniel Gillies, Irma P. Hall, and Pat Crawford Brown. All are coming under the direction of Kenny Golde who is also producing alongside Lawrence Gabriel and Steven L'Heureux for G2 Productions and Solipsist Film.

Perlman, a 1973 graduate of University of Minnesota, earned his acting debut in Jean-Jacques Annaud's 1981 work "Quest for Fire" to then come to prominence through his performance in TV series "Beauty and the Beast" which won him a Golden Globe Award in 1989. Other upcoming stints of his besides that in "Cat" include those in "Outlander", "I Sell the Dead", "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army", and "Mutant Chronicles."
