Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" becomes the No. 1 movie for three consecutive weekends after taking in an estimated $51.3 million internationally.

AceShowbiz - Entering its third spin on weekend international box office, "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" amazingly continues to maintain its hold on the top position of the chart despite its failed attempt to attain the same in the domestic market.

The latest installment in the Walt Disney Pictures seafaring tale series gloriously still fares great in the competition, raking in an estimated $51.3 million from 17,500 screens in 103 territories. In total, the flick has garnered $493.5 million overseas so far, a number that exceeds that collected by 2003's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl."

In addition, the gross also surpasses the $493.2 million booty which "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" has attained as the 15th-biggest overseas blockbuster of all time while being shy $149 million of the total take of last year's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."

Meanwhile, the flick's blockbuster competitors "Shrek the Third" and "Spider-Man 3" both also continue to fare well, nabbing respective income of estimated $25 million and $7 million during the weekend ended June 10, 2007. Overseas total taken by the former one reaches $54.5 million while the latter stands at $539 million.
