Crying Paris Hilton was sent back to detention facility on Friday, June 8 after L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled that she has to serve out the remainder of her sentence behind bars.

AceShowbiz - The taste of freedom turns out to be short-lived for Paris Hilton.

Just one day after leaving California's Century Regional Detention Facility, the hotel heiress had to go behind bars again as Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled on Friday, June 8 that she is "remanded to county jail to serve the remainder of her 45-day sentence."

Hilton, who came to the hearing wearing a fuzzy gray sweat shirt over slacks with messy ponytail and no makeup, could not hold back her tears upon hearing the verdict, shouting "It's not right! Mom!" as she was escorted out of the room by a female deputy while her mother, Kathy, collapsed into her husband Rick's arms and sobbed uncontrollably.

Spokesman to Sheriff's Department Steve Whitmore informed that the 26-year-old socialite was brought to the downtown Twin Towers jail for medical and psychiatric examination to determine the facility she will be held in and will remain in a treatment center there for at least the next two days.

Hilton initially was released by Sheriff Lee Baca Thursday, June 7 for medical reasons after her three-day service in the detention facility with an order to do the rest of her sentence in home confinement. It was this decision that irked Sauer, the same judge who originally sentenced her to 45 days for violating her probation on an alcohol-related driving charge.

"I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions," Sauer firmly stated. "At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home."
