A Warner Bros.' exec reportedly is scouting locations in Scotland for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

AceShowbiz - Looks like the preparation to begin production on "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has already taken its early step.
Scottish newspaper Scotland on Sunday has come up with an interesting tidbit stating that a locations manager for Warner Bros. Pictures is scouting natural settings for the sixth installment of the hit fantasy series in the country. The person, whose name is Sue Quinn, was said to have surveyed area around Cape Wrath, known for its spectacular cliffs and caves.
Some of the areas Quinn has checked out were reported to include Smoo Cave, the Clo Mor cliffs, a tower of rock that rises 130ft above the waves near Cape Wrath called Stac Clo Kearvaig, and Whaligoe Steps, which lies in a bay enclosed by two large sea cliffs.
"She was taking thousands of photographs of the cliffs, caves and rocks," remarked Jimmy McIntosh, a harbor master who took Quinn out on his boat. "She seemed to be very interested in Smoo Cave and the stacks in particular."
Producers of the movie reportedly have expressed their interests to use the caves and cliffs for the project's dramatic climax in which the heroes wind their way along a sea-lashed coastline in search of the soul of Lord Voldemort. No official statement yet from Warner Bros. regarding this matter, so keep sticking to this site for updates.
