Highly anticipated act Linkin Park will jam the stage in Japan for Al Gore's 24 hour Live Earth concert.

AceShowbiz - Japan's Live Earth has a strong musician headlining its leg. Chart-buster Linkin Park is officially made the artist flying to Japan to promote the fight against global warming in the July 7 concert.
Linkin, whose one of its members Mike Shinoda is half Japanese, will be joined by a number of local artists such as Ai Otsuka, Kumi Koda, Cocco, RIZE and Genki Rockets. Upon the band's involvement, Shinoda made his point, "Climate crisis awareness could be one of the defining issues of our generation, and we're proud to play this show in support of that effort."
Nine concerts are planned in various cities worldwide, including the United States (New York), United Kingdom (London), South Africa (Johannesburg), Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), China (Shanghai), Japan (Tokyo), Australia (Sydney), Germany (Hamburg), and Turkey (Istanbul).
Meanwhile, Linkin Park's latest album "Minutes to Midnight" is recorded by American Billboard chart as this year's best selling album by moving 623,000 at the first week of its release. The band will promote this album further in a joint tour with My Chemical Romance, H.I.M., Taking Back Sunday, Julien-K and Placebo in Projekt Revolution Tour which schedule is waiting to be announced.
