"Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" opened high with worldwide gross of $58 million in its first two days of pre-weekend release.

Sailing more than just swiftly to some parts around the globe, "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" has easily collected a fantastic worldwide tally of $58 million in its first two days of pre-weekend release, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Marketing and Distribution Mark Zoradi announced yesterday, May 25.

The seafaring adventure instantly took in $12.1 million from 13 territories on Wednesday, May 23, to then soar higher on the next day, pulling superb income of $17 million and $29 million from domestic and international market, respectively.

"We're thrilled beyond belief with these spectacular early returns for 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' and anticipate that the incredible excitement and demand will continue throughout the weekend and summer," Zoradi commented.

The last part in "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy, "Worlds End" marks the return of Gore Verbinski to the director's chair with Jerry Bruckheimer once again serving as the producer. The movie has expanded to 102 international markets by Friday, May 25, including major countries like Japan, Mexico, Spain, and Brazil.
