AICN has brought up scoop saying Keanu Reeves, Jude Law, and Patrick Wilson may take roles in Zack Snyder's "Watchmen."

AceShowbiz - Being one of the anticipated projects to come, sure talks about "Watchmen" are worth to be paid attention to, especially if it deals with the casting.

Interesting scoop regarding that matter comes out from Ain't It Cool News, which reported that three big stars namely Keanu Reeves, Jude Law, and Patrick Wilson have all lined up together for the project. Reeves is claimed to may play Dr. Jon Osterman, a.k.a. the god-like Dr. Manhattan while Law and Wilson are said to be up for the role of Adrian Veidt a.k.a. Ozymandias and Dan Dreiberg, a.k.a. Nite Owl II, respectively.

In related news, however, Gerard Butler, who has been heavily speculated to portray the doomed Comedian, surprisingly expressed his doubt on whether he would really take any involvement in the flick.

"We've been talking about [Watchmen] for awhile, but [Zack's] never told me a character and to be honest, now I'm looking a little bit picked up," the actor said to MTV.com.

Adapted from Alan Moore's twelve-issue graphic novel of the same title, "Watchmen" centers on a group of former crime-fighters who get back into action after the murder of a former teammate, The Comedian. "300" helmer Zack Snyder is onboard to direct with Alex Tse penning the script and Lloyd Levin, Lawrence Gordon, plus Chris Kenny producing.
