Shaznay Lewis of All Saints admits that their failure in making a come back is caused by their lack of effort.

AceShowbiz - Initially intended to support a big comeback, All Saints' "Studio 1" turned out to be a flop. Member Shaznay Lewis later admitted that the group did not put enough effort in the materials.

"It was almost like the record company thought how easy it was for Take That, let's just put the album out and it will be a huge hit," Shaznay said in a statement. "It didn't work like that. Then it was hard because everybody was comparing our comeback with Take That's." Shaznay added that they should have relied on a new fan base rather than counting on the old one.

All Saints split in 2001 whereby Shaznay and Melanie Blatt pursued solo career while the Appleton sisters performed as a duo. They were reunited in January 2006 and released the comeback album ten months later. The album only stayed in top 40 for one week, causing the group to be dropped by its label Parlophone.

Despite being dumped, the group plans to stay in the music business. "We're still working closely together. We don't know what next year holds but we could well do a comeback tour," the girls told the Daily Mirror.
