In the middle of massive tour, +44 has spilled ideas for second album that are still rough but 'getting there'.

AceShowbiz - What started off good, Punk rock act +44 is determined to get better in the next set. While busy touring with Fall Out Boy in Honda Civic Tour, the band is in its early stages of second album.

"We'll definitely be back in the studio, probably by the end of the year," said singer/bassist Mark Hoppus. "We have some ideas. We have a couple of very rough demos that we've been working on. I know that everybody has a lot of little parts of songs, and once we get into the studio we'll be putting it all together."

Hoppus admits that they still do not know which direction the second set will go but are "really excited about not knowing". He said, "We never know where any song is gonna take us, and we're open to any ideas." The band will hit the studio as soon as their European and South American tours are completed.

Hoppus, who is an ex-member of Blink-182 along with drummer Travis Barker, has also come to decision to sing Blink-182 songs. "In interviews, when people ask about it, we say it won't happen, we think it's lame, etc. Last week we changed our minds...You see, Travis and I LOVE our history with Blink-182, and it seems a shame to let those songs sit dormant forever because of what happened two years ago."
